Dermatos Partial Foot Restorations are an excellent solution for improved gait, posture, and aesthetic appearance in both closed and open toe shoes. The prosthesis is fabricated with a custom silicone skin with a foam or silicone elastomer insert.
Dermatos prosthetic feet and partial feet are usually attached by suction and/or form fitting. Like all Dermatos prosthetic devices, feet are custom made to each individual to ensure proper engineering and accuracy.
Custom made energy storing plates are sometimes added in the plantar surface of our prosthetics as an extra for enhanced kick off and less fatigue when walking or running. However, due to the comfort and natural spring of our silicone, these plates are often not even needed.
